This week-end while the wildcats relaxed, we kept busy working on the new enclosure for DJ, Nada & Kennewick. It's a slow process because we build as we get the funds to purchase material. And the work is tedious as well. But Mike (the hardest working guy I know) had help with Tim coming up on Saturday and then Aaron & Derek coming out Sunday. It's moving along but the roof is the hardest part. With the roof at 14 ft. tall the guys have to work at the top of the ladders and that isn't for the faint of heart! Plus the added 95 degree weather doesn't make it any easier. But we are all dedicated to getting this done allowing the three special cougars a new and improved living space! The new pen will allow them to share over 6,000 sq. ft. and I can't wait to see them in it! I'll continue to post photos as we go.
